Like a dish dropped on the ground

Or violently thrown against a wall

Pieces flown everywhere

Each with its own design     size     shape

All to be tossed out, irreparable and useless

Ignored

Like the traditional fruitcake on Christmas

Given as a kindness

But passed on the next year
